Hello everybody,
This week to support our Club theme of healing we were joined by author, podcaster, writer, artist and course creator, , whose self-help work has been read and listened to by millions of people since she started blogging about self-help in June 2004.
Natalie helps ‘people pleasers, perfectionists and relationship strugglers overcome their emotional baggage so that they can become more of who they really are’.
And she joined us for a 30-minute chat to celebrate the launch of her new two-part book Let Go (via The Pound Project), which is on sale for just one more week.
“Letting go means releasing the stories, the baggage, the identities we’ve clung to for safety.”
Natalie Lue
In this conversation Natalie opens up about the life events that shaped the book(s), including a recent cancer diagnosis, the grief of losing her father, and the inner shifts that only surrender can bring.
🎧 Topics covered include:
Why letting go is a choice, not an achievement
What it really means to surrender
Healing from shame and outdated roles
Writing as a form of processing
Crowdfunding her book with publisher, The Pound Project
“We all carry shame, even when we don’t realise it. My hope is readers will see they don’t have to feel that way about themselves anymore.”
Natalie Lue
This is a vulnerable and insightful conversation about the beauty and complexity of healing and how letting go - again and again - can be a gateway to deeper self-compassion.
As ever, I’d love to read about any insights/takeaways from this week’s expert session in the Comments section below…
Big Love from SH HQ,
Toni

PS Thank you , , , for tuning into our live video.
ABOUT THE BOOK
‘There is something in the chaos, stillness, anxiety, guilt, shame and self-doubt of what I’ve wrestled and reckoned with. As soon as I began to articulate some of it, I knew with every fibre of my being that I’m not alone.’ - Natalie Lue
The death of a parent. Medically-induced menopause. Cancer.
How can we make any sense of sickness, pain and grief?
In this powerful new memoir, acclaimed author and Baggage Reclaim founder

Family: A candid look at how parents and in-laws shape our lives, for better or worse.
Friction: Navigating the complexities of health, mortality and learning to listen to ourselves in the darkest moments.
Books are available until 5th August. Every purchase will include an invite to a virtual event, where Natalie will be interviewed by TPP founder JP Watson, including an audience Q&A.
