Book a Bibliotherapy session with me
1-2-1 reading coaching for your mental health now available
Want to start reading more self-help but have no idea where to start?
Start here!
As a journalist and writer, an unapologetic self-help addict, and somebody now living a happy and fulfilling life by design as the founder and boss at The Shelf Help Club, I love sharing book recommendations and personal development strategies and techniques.
There’s lots of value in joining the Shelf Help community Read-alongs as part of our Clubhouse paid membership, but after lots of requests for something a bit more bespoke I’m now offering a limited number of 1-2-1 sessions focused on you and your reading habits.
Great for self-help beginners or for anyone looking to reignite a reading habit to support their mental health.
Ahead of our call I’ll ask you to complete a short questionnaire and we’ll use this as a basis to explore the areas of your life that could most benefit from focus right now.
And whether you’re looking for more healing, happiness or growth, together we’ll look at what and how you already read, uncover any obstacles to your self-development journey so far, identify where you want to go next on this journey, and create an inspiring, useful and manageable reading plan that will cut through the self-help shelf overwhelm and move you forward
Bibliotherapy: The use of books for therapeutic purposes, to improve psychological well-being. Through the incorporation of carefully selected literary works, therapists can guide people in treatment on a journey of self-discovery.
BOOKING NOTES:
Ahead of the session you’ll be sent a short questionnaire and your reading list will be delivered within 24 hours of our meeting.
Sessions take place on Zoom and if you need to re-arrange there’s a 48-hour cancellation policy. Sessions can be re-arranged a maximum of 2 times (valid for 12 months).
Please get in touch if you’d like to gift a Bibliotherapy session.
Sessions available Wednesday and Thursday. Please get in touch via DM if you need a different day of the week and I’ll try to accommodate where possible.
